Welcome, and nice to meet you!

I’m honored you’ve reached out to our team, and am excited to potentially work together. Investing in your organization’s brand identity will create an authentic, sustainable foundation you can build your brand on and will last for years to come.

I started Anchored Creative Studio out of my desire to provide brand services for organizations doing great things. Anchored takes on select clients who have reached a growth stage in their business where their branding is no longer reaching their desired audience, which we work to remedy through custom Brand Strategy & Design, Contract CMO Services, as well as variety of courses and consultations.

It’s my goal to strategically look at your mission, goals, and target audience in order to produce a brand that will connect and root your organizational identity throughout all visual and written materials. During our work together, we will identify the magic that makes your organization unique. We’ll bring that magic to the surface of all of your visual design, communicating your mission authentically and directly to your desired audience - ensuring everything has meaning, and everything is anchored in your brand.

Who You Are

You’ve hit the ground running in starting your business, or have joined a small team. It’s going great, but you’re finding yourself spending time on way more creative administrative tasks than you expected - writing social media copy, tweaking the photos on your website, and figuring out the exact color scheme to use in your social media graphics. Nothing feels cohesive, and nothing feels like it’s saying what you want it to.

Through our process, we provide strategy and guidance that establish how to externally communicate your mission and services to your desired audience, so you have more time to do what you love. Our strategy documents can be handed off to new employees or contractors, so they have a great idea of what your brand is all about before you say a word.

Review your brand as-is, and get information from you regarding who you’re looking to reach, what’s working and not working, and any other clarity solutions we can bring to your brand strategy.

We make specific recommendations to move forward and step into your next phase of brand strategy, and better connect your powerful mission with your ideal audience.

 

Envision

It’s our goal to create long-term, sustainable foundations for authentic brands. We work primarily with small businesses and nonprofits passionate about speaking their mission to their audience; we’d love to chat with you and ensure we’d be a great fit to collaborate together.

Contract CMO Services


Who it’s for:

  • Business leaders and owners looking to evaluate their marketing and design efforts and ensure their message is reaching their audience.

The details:

  • We work together on a regular basis to audit your existing marketing and design efforts, get to know your mission and audience and identify any pain points; make recommendations to streamline and align your marketing efforts with your audience; and envision how to move forward revised strategy; 

 

Deliverables can include: 

  • Brand Strategy

    • Establishes communication standards: mission statement, core values, brand voice, social media voice, tone words

    • Advisement on targeted marketing efforts (social media, website, content strategy, marketing materials, etc.)

    • Brand voice, audience, and mission training with staff and stakeholders

  • Brand Visuals

    • Visual branding document: typography, colors, photography and graphic style

    • Canva templates for social media and/or marketing materials

  • Other ad hoc projects and consultations - every CMO project is customizable to fit your organization and objectives

Pricing:

Begins at $1,100 per month retainer for 8 hours of services per month /
Up to $5,000 per month retainer for 40 hours of services per month


Timeline:

3 month minimal commitment. Following the initial commitment, Anchored Creative Studio can be kept on regular retainer for less than 10 hours per month for ad hoc projects and advisement.

Brand Strategy & Design


Who it’s for:

  • Business owners and leaders looking to better connect their mission and audience with a strong business foundation.

The details:

  • We begin with strategy: an in-depth strategy session where we dig into your brand, reviewing what is and isn’t working for your brand. We review your current marketing and design efforts and see where shifts should be made. The result is a brand strategy document that outlines the foundation of your mission, your audience, and how to speak to your audience and ensure that you’re consistently connecting.

  • Following our brand strategy, we are able to take that foundation and build a full brand design for your business. This includes a color palette, font choices, logos, custom patterns, photography style, and can include marketing material and website design. 

  • We recommend that all organizations interested in brand strategy and design be operating for at least a year, as to fully understand their current and desired audience.

 

Deliverables can include: 

  • Brand guidelines document that establishes:

    • Visual brand: logos, color palette, typography, patterns, textures, interiors, photography

    • Communication standards: mission statement, core values, brand voice, social media voice, tone words, audience profiles

  • Custom logo (one primary, two cohesive variations) delivered in EPS, PNG and JPG formats; brand patterns and icons

additional deliverables:

A la carte items can be added to our Brand Strategy & Design to create a fully custom experience, and ensure your new marketing items fully match your brand. To get the ideas churning, here’s a list of common add-ons:

  • Marketing collateral such as brochures, fliers, notepads or booklets
  • Environmental signage
  • Sourced stock photos (or custom product photos)
  • Product packaging such as hangtags
  • Custom icons or illustrations
  • Social media creative direction

Begins at $2,400 for brand strategy and design.
Begins at $4,500 for brand strategy and design, and website design (created in Squarespace).


Timeline:

4-5 weeks for brand strategy and design only.
7-8 weeks for projects that include marketing and website design.

Note: Our brand strategy & design clients have exclusive access to continue working with our team at an hourly or package-based rate following their project.

  • Our 1-on-1 Brand Reviews includes a one-hour video phone call to fully dive into your brand, website, marketing materials, and our professional opinion on how to move forward.

FAQs

GETTING STARTED

+ Is Anchored Creative Studio a good fit for my business?

We'd love to hop on a call and find out! We start every potential client relationship with a brief discovery call, so we can find out about each other and what services would work best. Head to our contact page to get in touch and we can chat more.


+ When is the right time to invest in working with a branding agency?

Although there's no one-size-fits-all rule for branding your business, most clients find their way to us when they a) feel like their existing brand no longer fits their organization, due to shifts or growth; and/or b) they’ve outgrown a brand they created on their own, and now want to invest in professional branding.

We've found branding projects to be most successful when a business has been established for at least one year. This way, you have a solid idea of what both your short and long-term goals are for your organization, and have a solid idea of the direction you're looking to move in to attract your core audience.

We also work with plenty of organizations that have been around for several years, and are looking to uplevel their business. No matter the age of your company, we want to create a brand identity that will last with you throughout the years. When your brand is no longer speaking your message and reaching your audience, it's likely time to refocus your efforts.

 

THE PROCESS

+ How does payment work?

We require a 50% payment up front to get the project started, and 50% at the end of the project. For longer projects, we sometimes split up the final payment into smaller ones, but still require 50% up front. If you’re looking for something different, be sure to mention that in our consultation call and we can discuss options.

We accept all major credit cards, as well as checks for retainer clients.


+ How far out do you book your projects?

This depends on our current client roster, but usually at least a month in advance. We generally recommend you get in touch as soon as your project is taking form to confirm our availablity. If there’s a certain date you’d like to have the project wrapped up by, definitely let us know as soon as possible.


+ I’d love to work with you, but we aren’t located in the same city/state/country. How does that work?

Anchored Creative Studio works with plenty of remote clients! Through experience (aka, a lot of trial and error), we have fine-tuned our process to work equally well for a client in the same neighborhood as us and a client located several time zones away.

At the outset of working together, we will find a mutual time that works well for both of us for a phone or video call. Beyond this meeting, everything else occurs via email and a project management tool. When presenting drafts of your materials, we send short videos outlining our thought process.

 

BOOKING

+ I’m on a tight schedule and need branding done in a short time period. Can that happen?

Get in touch and we can find out! Our smallest branding package usually take between 4 and 6 weeks to complete, but if there’s availability, we can definitely get it done quicker with a rush fee added.


+ I'm ready to get started! What are the first steps?

Awesome! The first step is to get in touch to learn more about how we can work together and to set up an initial consultation call, where we’ll talk all about why you’re looking to invest in brand services, who your audience is, and what deliverables you’re looking to get out of the process. If it feels like a good fit, we will send over a proposal outlining pricing and timeline. From there, we’ll get the show on the road!
