We worked with Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) to create two print-focused donation campaigns, focusing on individual donors in the United States. These mailed campaigns were holiday-focused and were followed up with smaller email and social media campaigns.

For the 2016 holiday season, SHOFCO focused on their upcoming first graduating class of eighth graders from the Kibera School for Girls, and centered around an especially successful graduate. The trifold mailer also included a new remittance envelope that centered around dollars allocated specifically to girls’ education.

A smaller campaign, the 2016 Mother’s Day campaign focused on SWEP, a SHOFCO-created program that provides a fair wage to young women (often single mothers) creating jewelry, baskets, and other wares. This campaign focused on a simple Mother’s Day greetings mailer, followed by emails giving the option to donate or purchase SWEP in support of SHOFCO.
