 More About Mama Moon

Hi, I’m Anna! 👋 I work with women working through big moments of change, primarily during the childbearing year. I offer yoga and workshops to support preparation and reflection for prenatal, birth, postpartum, and beyond.

I’m here to hold space for movement, mentorship, learning, and processing. To prepare for the physical and emotional challenges and joys of the childbearing year, and to practice tender transitions and emotional resilience. Parenting, birth, and pregnancy cannot be completely prepared for. But you can prepare yourself for deep change and evolution, and I hope to support you on that journey.

An introduction to my work & capacity

  • I am currently available to both work with clients one-on-one, and to work with groups via workshops. These workshops can be a series or one-time offerings.

  • For groups, I can work with an established group looking to book a workshop, and/or a physical location or organization.

  • I am based in Lakewood, Ohio, and serve the Cleveland area (primarily west side) for in-person events. I also offer workshops and services remotely.

  • Any offering can be customized to individual needs and requests. I love getting nontraditional (yes, we can do a workshop outside or in a fun space!).

Some qualifications: I have completed 200 hour yoga teacher training + 85 hour prenatal teacher training, certified by Yoga Alliance. I’ve completed Birthing From Within’s childbirth educator training, and several continuing education modules in prenatal, postnatal, and pelvic floor yoga through Bliss Baby Yoga.

Who this is for

For postpartum folks
Reconnecting with your body, processing your experience, and building strength in a new season. And yes — postpartum is forever after birth.

For prenatal folks
Preparing your mind and body for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

For all
For those wanting to reconnect to their breath and find expansion.

For birthworkers
Introducing frameworks to share with your clients, and slowing down to connect with yourself during seasons of busy business.

One-on-one Offerings

Working one-on-one is a choose-your-own-adventure, customized to your needs, goals, and concerns.

We may meet for a single session or ongoing sessions, with space to shift as new insights and needs arise.

Some things we can work on together:

  • Individualized yoga/movement (prenatal, postpartum, pelvic floor)

  • Birth preferences exploration + intention setting

  • Creating your birth preferences plan

  • Movement and pain coping techniques

  • Birth story + postpartum processing (birth art, reflection, movement)

  • Childbirth education + postpartum preparation

Why work with me?

This work sits at the intersection of education, lived experience, and embodiment.

I’m not here to give you a single right way.

I’m here to help you understand your body, trust your instincts, and move through this season with more agency and support.

Here’s a few things I believe in:

  • Preparation that’s non-prescriptive — because every birth and motherhood is fluid and unique.

  • Honoring the messy middle — embracing the unknown and the transformation.

  • Balancing knowledge with intuition — because education and information is fabulous, but you also have deep wisdom and knowledge inside you.

I want to do this! What’s next?

YES! Let’s get going. Reach out to me via heymamamoon@gmail.com or the contact form and we’ll get to chatting.

  • If you’re reaching out for one-on-one offerings, expect to set up a phone or video call to hear more about what you’re looking for and ensure we’re a great fit. From there, I’ll send over some intake material and an outline of what we’ll be working on together.

  • For groups, let me know what workshop(s) you’re interested, and any relevant details — especially if there is a specific space you’re looking to host, or if you’d need a space provided, and if there’s a specific date in mind. From there, we’ll either hop on a call to chat more details or get right into planning mode.
