About Mama Moon
Hi, I’m Anna! 👋 I work with mamas working through big thresholds of change, primary during the childbearing year. I offer yoga and workshops to support preparation and reflection for prenatal, birth, postpartum, and beyond.
I’m here to hold space for movement, mentorship, learning, and processing. To prepare for the physical and emotional challenges and joys of the childbearing year, and to practice tender transitions and emotional resilience. Parenting, birth, and pregnancy cannot be completely prepared for. But you can prepare yourself for deep change and evolution, and I hope to support you on that journey.

An introduction to my work + capacity
I am currently available to both work with clients one-on-one, and to work with groups via workshops. These workshops can be a series or one-time offerings.
For groups, I can work with an established group looking to book a workshop, and/or a physical location or organization.
I am based in Lakewood, Ohio, and serve the Cleveland area (primarily west side) for in-person events. I also offer workshops and services remotely.
Any offering can be customized to individual needs and requests. I love getting nontraditional (yes, we can do a workshop outside or in a fun space!).
Some qualifications: I have completed 200 hour yoga teacher training + 85 hour prenatal teacher training, certified by Yoga Alliance. I’ve completed Birthing From Within’s childbirth educator training, and several continuing education modules in prenatal, postnatal, and pelvic floor yoga through Bliss Baby Yoga.
Group Workshop Offerings
Postpartum
Postpartum Strength Workshop
A bridge between pregnancy and parenthood. We reflect on the thresholds of birth and early postpartum, processing experiences though reflection, sharing, and movement. We honor our experiences and close the chapter on birth so we can move into what’s next. Includes gentle movement with scaffolded options.
Can be offered as a series or single workshop.
Prenatal
Prenatal Yoga Workshop
Preparing the mind and body for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We’ll open with centering breathwork, followed by an overview of anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a group, we workshop through common physical and emotional concerns and issues, and education on movement and techniques to strengthen, relax, and move forward. Includes flow-based yoga with scaffolded options.
Can be offered as a series or single workshop.
Can also be offered for yoga instructors.
Childbirth Education and Movement Workshop
A deeper dive into mental and physical prep for the childbearing year. We dive deeper into the mechanics behind movement and how they can support your body in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum; combined with information and activities to prompt reflection around what we gain and leave behind as we enter into parenthood. This workshop is more workshop-style movement than an immersive flow. Can include birth art reflections, pain coping exercises, movement, and a deep dive into physical and mental shifts in the perinatal year.
Can be offered as a series or single workshop.
Beyond the Birth Plan Workshop
This is a workshop for parents who want to prepare for their birth ahead, but aren’t sure what exactly they’re preparing for. We’ll discuss the perinatal labyrinth — the thresholds you meet throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and the profound mental and physical changes of this year. Together, we’ll review options for birth plans and what you can truly control in your birth, and how to cope with unexpected detours. Can include birth art reflections, pain coping exercises, and other reflections.
Can be co-taught with other birth pros
Can be offered as a series or single workshop.
For Birthworkers
Brand Positioning for Birthworkers
A workshop for any birthworker who isn’t quite sure how their business fits in among the sea of other birthworkers. In this workshop, we’ll learn how to build your business through brand positioning — identifying exactly who your audience is and what they’re looking for, what you’re uniquely providing in the landscape, and how to communicate this in a simple and emotional way. I aim for you to leave with your shoulders a bit lighter, and more confidence around exactly what magic you bring to the birth world.
Offered as a single workshop.
Pelvic Floor
Pelvic Floor-Focused Yoga
A deep dive into the anatomy of the pelvic floor and how dysfunction impacts the body. We explore the reasons for pelvic floor dysfunction, how under- and over-engagement (and the combo of both) can show up in the body. We explore ways to build awareness of the pelvic floor, and movements to ease tension and build strength. Will include flow-based yoga movement with scaffolded options. Focus on female anatomy, and for folks of all ages/stages.
Can be offered as a single workshop or series.
Cosmic Celebration Yoga
Can be focused on the new moon, full moon, or zodiac season.
A yoga flow that’s fit to the current cosmos. Celebrate the opening or closing of a zodiac season with physical movement and reflections inspired by it. New moon and full moon yoga shows us how energy ebbs and flows, and always comes back around; new moon is reflective and slower, and full moon has higher energy.
Can include journaling and reflective activities.
Offered as a single workshop or series in line with the cosmic celebrations.
One-on-One Offerings
Working one-on-one is truly a choose your own adventure, and can be customized to your needs and desires. I’d love to hear the outcomes you desire, the goals you’d like to hit, and any concerns you may have, so we can create a way forward that fits you.
For the most part, we will meet for a singular session, or multiple sessions with a plan for each session and some homework in between. These are fluid, and can shift depending on new goals or information that pops up (because that’s life!).
Some things we can work on together:
Individualized yoga/movement for prenatal, postpartum, and/or pelvic floor
Birth preferences exploration, and establishing goals and intentions for your birth
Creating your birth preferences plan
Movement and pain coping techniques
Birth story and postpartum processing: through birth art, reflection, and yoga/movement
Childbirth education and postpartum prep
I want to do this! What’s next?
YES! Let’s get going. Reach out to me via heymamamoon@gmail.com and we’ll get to chatting.
If you’re reaching out for one-on-one offerings, expect to set up a phone or video call to hear more about what you’re looking for and ensure we’re a great fit. From there, I’ll send over some intake material and an outline of what we’ll be working on together.
For groups, let me know what workshop(s) you’re interested, and any relevant details — especially if there is a specific space you’re looking to host, or if you’d need a space provided, and if there’s a specific date in mind. From there, we’ll either hop on a call to chat more details or get right into planning mode.
