Social Media Assistant
Role and Responsibilities:
Under owner’s advisement, create social media posts and a social media calendar that targets Anchored Creative Studio’s audience, and reflects the Anchored brand.
Manage and monitor Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest, as well as other social media accounts.
Follow relevant accounts and hashtags, interact with comments on posts, and interact with relevant accounts.
Identify potential clients and partners, and communicate regularly with the studio owner on leads.
Report a weekly social media calendar to the studio owner, who will create necessary graphics (or, depending on your skills, you may create them yourself).
Schedule posts via Tailwind and Later.
About You:
Excitement to work with growing businesses, self starter, and organized.
Experience working in a social media, marketing, and/or project manager role.
Basic understanding of the importance of visual branding and working knowledge of client-based organizations (and/or willingness to learn).
Experience working with scheduling tools, specifically Tailwind and Later.
Experience working with social media from a business standpoint, specifically Instagram and Pinterest.
Hours may ebb and flow from week to week, but should average 2 - 3 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow.
Ownership of an Adobe Creative Cloud license and working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator a huge plus.
Comfortable making recommendations to the owner when something isn’t working, or a process or automation could be completed better.
Must be US based. Being based in the Denver metro area for occasional in-person meetings a plus.
Hours can be flexible, but should be available on a consistent, set basis for client scheduling and weekly team video meetings.
Position will begin as a three-month contract, with option to extend to a more long-term contract by both parties at the end of three months.
Compensation:
Estimated weekly retainer payment: $75-100 (depending on experience)
All positions will be paid a flat, weekly retainer rate depending on their expertise and experience. We believe that hourly pay can potentially de-value your work and efficiency. If you prefer to be paid in a different format (such as project-based), just let us know.
