Is Your Business Working For You? Here’s How To Find Out.

I’ll be honest. When people ask me how to make their business work for them, I used to freeze up. But what I found was this: What has worked for my business may not work for you.

That’s right. I won’t give you a prescriptive formula on how to run your business because we all have unique life experiences and backgrounds. It wouldn’t be ethical for me to tell you how to run your business like mine because there’s no guarantee it will work for you.

There’s plenty of people out there who say they have the answer to your problem. But at the end of the day, no one has the answer. You’re the only one who can work through arising situations in your business and figure it out.

Whether I’m working with you as a brand designer, strategist, designer, or mentor, it’s my job to provide a framework that ensures you’re building your business sustainably, in a way that attracts the people you want to work with.

No matter where you are in your business, I’m there to ensure you have a framework that’s adaptable and resourceful for you. We’re also going to make sure your brand is driven by your values because there’s nothing worse than realizing you were running a business you’re not passionate about.

Everything is built on your values, including your audience (surprise: they’ll share your values, too), your offerings, and your differentiators. At this stage, you’re working through what you do differently than anyone else (besides the actual skill itself) and aligning that with what your audience is looking for. That’s positioning, the process we go through to understand how you fit among your competitors, and how you stand out.

Once you’re clear on the foundations, you can move on to how you express your values to the world through messaging that represents what your audience is looking for, and, later, a content strategy that really falls in line with you. That comes through in your visual brand, assembled via your photography, graphics, logo, and colors.

When you work with me, these steps are where we discover your brand. Ready to take that next step? Here’s some ways to work with me:

  • Business mentorship: Get guidance on strategy & design as you build your business sustainably.

  • Take a course: Build your business foundations to create a values-first brand.
